Things are moving along at our new location 2 Taylors Road! Walls have been torn down and rebuilt in more convenient locations, floors mended, gib stopped etc. etc. There’s still plenty to do, but the space is starting to come together, and the end is in sight; and, to be honest, so is our lease agreement! We figured we better get on with things and set a date for the big move. Because moving, checking and arranging over 1600 tools takes a bit of time, ALoT will be closed from the Saturday the 17th of October until Monday the 26th.

This means our last open day before the move will be Friday the 16th of October. We recommend booking any items you might need over this period. We will be open again from Tuesday 27th October (5.30 – 7.30pm) at 2 Taylors Rd, Morningside.

As mentioned, there’s still quite a bit to do. We need to plaster, paint, install flooring, sand and varnish floors, hang doors and probably about 20 other things we can’t remember right now. If you have skills in any of these areas and want to help out get in touch!

Stay tuned for more updates and announcements over the coming weeks. Keep well, and don’t forget to enrol to vote before Labour weekend!
